Below are a few ideas. Relax on long sandy stretches, play in the waves, build sandcastles, hunt out secret coves. Maybe you&#8217;ll adventure through caves cut into the rock face and admire the coastal waterfalls.\u00a0 If you look a little way out to sea you may also spot the dolphins, seals and porpoises that call the coast their home.<\/p>\n<p>New Quay, Cei Bach, Llangrannog, Mwnt, Penbryn are just some of the stunning sandy beaches that are within 30 minutes&#8217; drive of the farm.\u00a0 For something a little different venture to Borth at sunset and explore the petrified forest that lies hidden just beneath the waves<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canvasandcampfires.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/wonderful-walking.jpg\" alt=\"people walking on a mountrain top\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"399\" width=\"600\" title=\"wonderful-walking\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n<h2>\n\t\tWonderful walking \n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>The farm is in a great position to explore hills, coastal paths, forests and more.<\/p>\n<p>The Ceredigion coastal path is a stunning 65 mile route that runs from Cardigan to Ynyslas. You can also explore the green river valleys of the Teifi, Aeron, Ystwyth and Rheidol.\u00a0 Get lost in the Brechfa Forest, visit the enchanting Hafod Estate and discover Devils Bridge Falls.\u00a0 Or if you fancy the mountain air venture to the Brecon Beacons or the uplands and forests of the Cambrian Mountains.<\/p>\n<p>You really are spoilt for choice.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canvasandcampfires.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/towns.jpg\" alt=\"Two people sitting by a harbour\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"410\" width=\"600\" title=\"towns\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n<h2>\n\t\tTeeny towns\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Wander around the picturesque Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron or the historic market town of Lampeter.<\/p>\n<p>Visit the red kite museum at Tregaron or venture to Llanddewi Brefi, the town made famous by the comedy series Little Britain.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy a slower pace of life. The Brechfa Forest and Nant yr Arian offer some great mountain bike trails. Check out the cross country routes or venture a little further to Machynlleth and experience the longest decent in Wales on The ClimachX in the Dyfi forest.<\/p>\n<p>You can also visit the sleepy hamlet of Cilycwn home to Cwm Rhaeadr. At only 6.7km it may be shorter than many of the other trails in the area but it packs enough punch to make it well worth a ride.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canvasandcampfires.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/cheeses.jpg\" alt=\"a photo of a selection of cheeses\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"400\" width=\"600\" title=\"Artisan food producers are two a penny round here\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n<h2>\n\t\tFantastic food &#038; drink \n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>With an artisan food producers around most corners the trickiest thing is working out what to try first.<\/p>\n<p>Explore the small but perfectly formed towns of Lampeter and Aberaeron and their great independent delis, cafes and restaurants.<\/p>\n<p>Within striking distance of the farm you can sample the awesome ice cream at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.contisicecream.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contis. <\/a>\u00a0Visit an organic whisky and gin distillery (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.damhile.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">D\u00e0 Mh\u00ecle<\/a><u>).<\/u> Or sample the delights of the amazing restaurants like <a href=\"http:\/\/ypolyn.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Y Polyn<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.harbour-master.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harbourmaster<\/a><u>.<\/u> There are a host of excellent food markets, independent deli&#8217;s, and cosy cafes nearby.\u00a0 Come indulge your senses (and your waistline) in West Wales.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.canvasandcampfires.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/a-damn.jpg\" alt=\"A damm on a river\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"399\" width=\"600\" title=\"a-damn\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n<h2>\n\t\tDifferent days out \n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Looking for something different to do? Want to discover some of Wale&#8217;s unique history or indulge in a legend or two? Wales has more castles per square mile than anywhere else Europe.<\/p>\n<p>You can also jump on a narrow gauge steam train.\u00a0 Venture down a roman gold mine.\u00a0 Cosy up in one of Dylan Thomas&#8217;s favourite spots.
